Morning Snack - 8:45am - 9:30


Any one, or more of:
  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • kiwi
  • grapes
  • pineapple
  • peaches
  • pears
  • banana
  • raspberries
  • watermelon
And one of:
  • Nutrios & Cheerios mixed
  • Nutrigrain Bars
  • whole wheat cracker sandwiches (with either cream cheese or peanut butter)
  • Toast with honey
Beverage:
  •  milk
In addition:
  • yogurt is served 3 times a week



Lunch - 11am - 1:30pm (Lunch and/or snacks are ongoing during this time. Some days we bring our whole lunch and eat it, as desired, during our outdoor time. Other days we bring more snack type food outside, and return home for a heartier lunch. Either way, children are usually eating intermittently during these 2 and a half hours.)


Any one of:
  • avocado and cream cheese on whole wheat toast
  • cheese sandwich (cheddar cheese on whole wheat) 
  • toast with choice of peanut butter, jam, honey, cream cheese, etc.
  • hummus or cream cheese on whole wheat pita bread
And one or more of:
  • carrots
  • broccoli
  • cucumber
  • raisins
  • almonds
  • clementines
  • white cheddar rice cakes
Beverage:
  • regular milk, or for older kids (approx 3 and up) choice of regular milk, chocolate milk, or orange juice with added calcium and vitamin D



Afternoon Snack - 3:15 - 4:30pm
  • unlimited apple or other fruit

Beverage:
  • water




Dinner - 4:45pm - 5:30


Any of the following meals, all homemade except where asterisked. All are served with vegetables (most commonly broccoli, carrots, green beans, peas or corn)

  • chicken breasts with baked sweet potatoes/regular baked potatoes/mashed potatoes/boiled mini potatoes or *sweet potato fries
  • chicken burgers (chicken breast on mini buns)
  • chicken with fussili noodles
  • *President's Choice Angus Sliders, with cheddar cheese, on mini buns
  • meat lasagna 
  • mini meatballs with baked sweet potatoes/regular baked potatoes/mashed potatoes/boiled mini potatoes or *sweet potato fries
  • pizza with turkey pepperoni
  • whole wheat or Omega 3 spaghetti with *pasta sauce
  • manicotti
  • fish sticks with baked sweet potatoes/regular baked potatoes/mashed potatoes/boiled mini potatoes or *sweet potato fries
  • salmon with baked sweet potatoes/regular baked potatoes/mashed potatoes/boiled mini potatoes or *sweet potato fries
  • fried, soft-boiled or scrambled Omega 3 eggs with whole wheat toast


Beverage: 
  • milk

  • water is availabe and accessible at all times of the day, but only milk is served with meals (except afternoon snack)
